Where the F**k was | James Bridle

In 2011, information technology researchers Alasdair Allen and Pete Warden discovered that the iPhone stored information on its location history, without the user’s knowledge. James Bridle extracted the archive “consolidated.db”, which stored these data, from his telephone, and with the data he produced this book, which shows in two hundred and two maps his movements between June 2010 and April 2011. The author was surprised to discover how this digital memory showed places that he had forgotten that he had visited, and others that he had never visited at all, due to system errors.
